National Bureau of Statistics presents information on the situation of young people in the Republic of Moldova in 2025.

Young people represent about a quarter of the population.

The number of the population with usual residence population on January 1, 2026 constituted 2365,6 thousand persons, of which 517,3 thousand or 21,9% were young people aged 14-34 years.

The distribution of young people by sex was as follows: 47,9% - males and 52,1% - females.
